John Isner was excited to get through Nicolas Mahut at Wimbledon, enjoyed the limelight of the historic match, but now he is saying enough already! The American is getting tired of being asked about the 11-hour epic match by reporters at every tournament he plays.
After his first round victory at Legg Mason, one of the reporters threw in a Wimbledon's pit: "I suppose you'll never be able to escape 70-68."
Isner's answer was: "Yeah, I'm trying to ... Mentally, I'm a bit worn out. Answering questions and hearing jokes, every single day about that. It kind of wears on you."
The year is still a long way to go so expect more questions!
