It is that time of the year! Players are exhausted and knees, ankles, and all other body parts are falling apart.
John Isner joined the list of injury casualty less than a week away from the US Open yesterday when he twisted his right ankle. The American was playing against David Nalbandian and was up 5-4 in the first set when he retired.
After hopping in pain and then getting some treatment to his ankle, Isner retired from the match. He pulled out of the doubles too.
