Just when Americans were shaking their heads on why no men from the USA are in the Top 10, Andy Roddick and Mardy Fish both pulled off stunning victories over top seeds in Cincinnati. Roddick knocked off Novak Djokovic in straight sets while Fish dropped Andy Murray in three sets.
Murray needed medical treatment to his injured leg in the second set. This is also mean he will have only one week to recuperate until the US Open.
Fish and Roddick will be meeting each other in the semifinals.
