The seeds have been announced for both side of the draws for next week US Open. On the men's side, Rafael Nadal is ranked first while Roger Federer followed right behind.
Caroline Wozniacki got the top spot after Serena Williams withdrew followed by Kim Clijsters. The defending champ Clijsters has increased her ranking tremendously since her comeback and currently is ranked third in the world.
Top 10 Men:
Nadal, Federer, Djokovic, Murray, Soderling, Davydenko, Berdych, Verdasco, Roddick, and Ferrer.
Top 10 Women:
Wozniacki, Clijsters, Williams, Jankovic, Stosur, Schiavone, Zvonareva, Li, Radwanska, and Azarenka.
Both Roddick and Williams saved the USA from having no Top 10 seed. Roddick got back on top after his good run late into the US Open Series.
