No Smoking In Tennis

The Swiss Indoors tennis event in Roger Federer's hometown of Basel will be smoke-free after this year after the tournament organizers announced the partnership with tobacco brand Davidoff will end. The ATP Tour, which controls the event's international television deals, said due to countries' laws that differ on tobacco advertising they will have to pull Davidoff out from the event.

“The ATP doesn’t set these restrictions, but of course complies with them and expects our tournaments to, as well,” the tour said in a statement.

Tournament organizers also released a statement saying it was "only in June this year that the ATP informed that, because of the advertising restrictions regarding tobacco, the tournament could no longer be played under this name."
