About 11 US cities are vying to bid for the right to host for the Fed Cup final between the US and Italy. These cities are Dallas, San Antonio, Fort Worth, Pacific Palisades, Cleveland, Jacksonville, Portland, St. Louis, the island of Hawaii, Surprise, Ariz., and San Diego.
The final bids are due to the USTA on June 4 and the winning venue will be picked on around the 14th. This is a rematch of last year's final where Italy won over the United States.
This is the first final on US soil since 2000, also the last time the USA won Fed Cup. The final will be played in November.
