You know Andy Roddick is not happy and a little edgy when he questions line calls and hit ball right at his opponent. Unsportsmanlike conduct yes, but that’s Roddick when he’s down.
The American survived an early scare against Robin Haase to advance to the fourth round. Haase looked a bit out and about after calling the trainer in the first set but than came out firing.
The Dutchman gave Roddick some trouble in the first and second set but once the American won the tiebreak, he felt more relaxed.
Roddick won, 2-6, 7-6, 6-2, 6-2.
