It is not everyday you have two tennis players who are fathers playing against each other. Tonight, Roger Federer and Gilles Simon will both go at it for a spot in the third round.
If there is any good news for Simon, the Frenchman will go into the match knowing he has never lost to the Swiss. Simon holds a 2-0 record against Federer.
"I usually remember the losses maybe just a bit more because I don't have as many as I have wins," Federer said Monday. "He's beaten the best in the world. If he can do it once, he always feels he can do it again."
So this might sound strange but Federer will come into the match looking to get some revenge on the Frenchman. The good news for the Swiss is the last time they played was in 2008.
The two met twice that year actually where Federer lost both the encounters. With Simon coming back from injury, the Swiss hopes three time won't be the charm for the Frenchman.
