World number one Rafael Nadal has entered the Thailand Open which starts in September. Along with Nadal, US Open champion Juan Martin del Potro has also entered, organizers said Thursday.
The tournament is slighted for Sept. 4-Oct. 3 at the Bangkok's Impact Arena. Del Potro has not played all year since the Australian Open due to surgery.
“This year with my health and body in good shape, I am really looking forward to playing some great tennis for the Thai fans,” Nadal said in a statement.
